Abstract

The article presents biography and an analysis of the main artworks of modern Mongolian young artist, lecturer of Mongolian national University of Begzsuren Baasansuren. In August 2019, he opened the fourth solo exhibition which was called «Toonolj» in Ulaanbaatar. The artist received a professional education at the Institute of Fine Arts and Design at the Mongolian State University of Arts and Culture. His teacher was artist H. Sodnomtseren. Baasansuren works with several stylistic directions, the greatest success he achieved in expressionism and abstract expressionism.
