Abstract

With the permission of the outstanding scientist Lokesh Chandra, we publish articles from his Dictionary of Buddhist iconography, translated by S.M.Belokurova. Previous publications in No. 4 and No. 5 of the "The Art of Eurasia" Journal. The article tells about the canons of the image of Abhirati - "Land of Joy".
