Abstract
The article is devoted to the design of modern Mongolian cashmere. In the complex process of manufacturing valuable material, one of the important steps is its decoration. The article creatively explores the aesthetic qualities of cashmere and the traditions of folk arts and crafts. Representing the diversity of the Mongolian ornament, the designer Anira Myagmazaihan creates a series of textiles using the technique of color printing. In the symbolism of ornamental motifs of cashmere, the author reconstructs the manifestations of color as elements of the ethnic language, restores the deep cultural layers of the artistic heritage of Mongolia.
