Abstract
Among the masters of Russian landscape painting of the late 19th – of the early 20th century, who defined her face, it is important to note Stanislav Yulianovich Zhukovsky (1873–1944) – an outstanding master of pre-revolutionary and pre-revolutionary Russia. His works are imbued with humanity, lyricism, the nature in them, in the words of I.I. Levitan (1860–1900), «filtered through the temperament of the artist». In the artist's love for Russian nature, in the essence of his interest in the diverse manifestations of her life are concluded, first of all, the traditions of the Savrasovsko-Polenov school. He relied in his work not only on the landscape mood of I.I. Levitan, but also used the experience of V.A. Serov (1865–1911) and K.A. Korovin (1861–1939), without repeating any of them.
