Forest man (about artworks of honored artist of the Russian Federation I. I. Duncay)

Abstract

Ivan Dunkay (1952–2017) is the artist of Udege nationality. He worked in painting, book illustration, small plastic. His creative work is a unique example of connecting the traditional academic art education and the artistic culture of the Udege. It is an interesting material for art historical research in the field of preservation of national culture in the era of modern transformations.
