Abstract
The article is devoted to the contribution of art historian S.G. Batyreva to the study of Kalmyk art and culture. Both the merits of S. G. Batyreva in scientific activities and her contribution to museology, education, and the introduction of society to the cultural heritage of Kalmykia are covered.
