Abstract

In the sculptures and installations of Anthony Gormley the main role is assigned to the awareness of the human body, its relationship with space and volume, and the involvement of the viewer in the artistic process. Gormley notes the importance of Rodin's creativity, thanks to which the sculpture began to interact more with the environment, approaching the viewer, and the boundaries of the volume of the sculptural group or a separate figure became more blurred.
