Abstract
The article deals with the figurative and stylistic features of satirical drawings of Eisenshtein in the period from 1910 to 1948 years. His heritage parallels with modern western art. The sources of the artist’s work are underlined. Special attention is paid to changing the object in caricatures: from the actions of individuals to the work of the state system in general.
