Abstract
The purpose of this article is to identify trends in developing of coloristic qualities in ceramics art today. There were analyzed abilities of using the color in esthetic decisions of decorative art: there are examples among Russian and foreign artists, using the color as main expressive element in their ceramic works; there is comparison of expressive abilities of different materials that using for the decoration and it’s connection with a situation in the sphere of creativity. Conclusion indicates a steady rise of the importance of coloristic solution in modern art ceramics. Also this fact is considering one of the most important trends of it’s creative developing and helps in connection of different regional schools.
