Abstract
The article presents an analytical review of the international plein air “Solar Palette of the East” in 2024, in the Naryn region of Kyrgyzstan. This significant cultural initiative has been conducted on an annual basis since 2011 by the Art-Araba Public Foundation and its director, D.J. Alyshbaeva, with the backing of the International Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of the Commonwealth of Independent States. This year, approximately fifty individuals from various countries participated in the event. The resulting exhibition, held in the hall of the Union of Artists of Bishkek, showcased numerous works of painting and graphics across diverse genres. The authors of this article employed the participatory observation method and art historical analysis to document this significant occurrence within the global art community, assess its impact, and examine the most notable creative contributions of the plein air participants.
