Abstract
The article is dedicated to the theoretical analysis of the international exhibition project “Kullu — the silver valley of the Roerichs”, which was held at the Altai State Art Museum in 2024. The project's lengthy creative prehistory is outlined, resulting in the inclusion of the works of art in the thematic and exposition plan of the exhibition under consideration. The conceptual foundations of the realised project are revealed, and an attempt is made to substantiate the notion of the 'Eurasian concept' in relation to artistic processes. The article analyses the key works of the exhibition, classifying their exposition and organisation, and interpreting the language of visual images. It employs iconographic and comparative-cultural methods, as well as direct observation of the exposition. Its methodological basis draws on the basic elements of museology and the methodological foundations of other scientific disciplines, namely cultural studies and philosophy.
