Fantasies on the topic of paper. Three artists from Italy

Abstract

The exhibition "Fantasies on the topic of paper", organized by the Italian Institute of Culture in Moscow and the Italian Embassy in cooperation with the Russian Academy of Arts, took place on April 10 - May 9, 2021. The exhibition includes the works of three Italian artists working with paper in completely different techniques and resorting to completely different types of its use. Each of the authors is distinguished by a unique creative approach and rich experience in working with this matter. All the works presented at the exhibition are able to instantly transfer the viewer to the territory of the imagination, a kind of “real unreal” world proposed by Flaminia Mantegazza, Luciana Fiore and Anna Onesti, as well as the curator of the project, Giovanna dalla Chiesa.
