Abstract
The exhibition of the sculptor Dmitry Nikitovich Tugarinov, the full member of the Russian Academy of Art, the honored artist of Russian Federation, Moscow Komsomol prizewinner, was opened on 16 February in Moscow halls of the Russian Academy of Arts. The large-scale exhibition, occupied 10 halls and included about 350 works of sculpture, is timed to coincide with the foreman’s diamond anniversary. There were also exhibited the works of Tugarinov’s wife, whose name is Afina Georgiyevna Popandopulo, in one of the halls. She is famous for her inimitable portrait images and for the using of the innovative technologies and the plastic techniques in the genre of portrait.
