Abstract
The article is devoted to the continuity of the imagery system, motives, techniques and expressive means from early Scythian art of the middle of the 7th century BC to the modern folk-applied art of the Republic of Tuva. As a material, the author compares the artifacts of the burial burial complexes Arzhaan and Arzhaan-2 and samples of Tuvan contemporary folk art, souvenirs, decor items for interiors and exteriors. The author distinguishes between methods of stylization and interpretation in the modern refraction of the Scythian animal style.
