Abstract
The article is devoted to the issue of development of the small plasticity in the Republic of Tuva, as well as the dynastic continuity of this type of creativity among the Tuvan modern stone-carving art founders. Modern stone-carvers work in four main themes – animalistic, ethnographic, Buddhist-fairytale and sports. Bai-Taiga is the homeland of stone-carving masters, among whom there are family dynasties, a special place has the Toibuhaa dynasty. Khertek Toybukhaa is one of the founders of small sculpture, his sons and grandchildren continued his work, Donduk Doibuhaa became an outstanding stone-carver among them. Their artworks have spread throughout many Russian museums and private collections abroad.
