Abstract
The article focuses on attribution research and art history analysis of the icon of the Resurrection of Christ with stamps (miniature drawings) from the collection of the State Art Museum of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug. The research is conducted using art historical and semiotic approaches. The compositional structure, composition and technical features of the icon, including the venerated saints and Mother of God images, were thoroughly analysed by the author. The study also included exploration of technological and stylistic aspects. It has been established that the creation of the object can be attributed to the latter half of the 18th century and is connected to Rostov Veliky (i. e. Rostov the Great). This is the time when the finery trade flourished and the fine arts were influenced by Malorossian (Little Russian) and Polish models.
