Abstract

The article gives a dialectical-logical understanding of the essence of art through a system of many definitions that unfold from the abstract to the concrete. The criteria for distinguishing art from anti-art and pseudo-art are introduced. There are three levels of fine art characteristic all of its genres: subjective-game (or technematic), social-confessional and sophian.
