Abstract
The article is devoted to the artists of the second Russian avant-garde in the art of Karelia of the twentieth century. The aim is to identify the iconic works of Karelian artists Yuriy Vysokovskikh and Yuriy Trofimov, confirming their belonging to the second Russian avant-garde, through such research methods as historical, biographical and stylistic analysis.
