Abstract
The article deals with the collection of Old Believers icons of the Ponosovs family in the collection of the Primorye State Art Gallery. The purpose of the research is to identify problems of attribution of icons, to identify the prevailing themes of icons. Icons represent a synthesis of theological, literary, and visual sources. The article notes common features for all icons of the Old Believers that allow them to be divided from works of official Church art. The conclusions of the article will allow us to correlate the themes common to Old Believers iconography with the spiritual and aesthetic needs in a very particular family.
