Abstract
The article is about an exhibition of works by a contemporary sculptor, Honored Artist of Russia Sergei Milchenko, held in the halls of the Russian Academy of Arts in 2017. Paying tribute to the professional skill of S. Milchenko, the author – being an artist – pays special attention to the ability of the sculptor to talk about the day with today's language of metaphor and parable and as an example he considers the sculptural composition «The Prodigal Son».
