Abstract

The article is devoted to analysis of artwork, as they determine this stylistic direction in the West, or works of jewelry art, domestic art terminology, in the context of contemporary art practices. The focus of the study is the impact that the installation as a form of contemporary art has had on the development of jewelry art. Due to the indirect, mediated installation influence, there was a fundamental rethinking of traditional functions and subject forms of jewelry. In plastic and genre terms, jewelry has gone beyond its specific boundaries and represents one of the branches of contemporary art.
