Abstract
The article is devoted to the description and analysis of famous Russian artists' works. Rashid and lnessa Azbuhanov create carved wooden icons continuing the ancient tradition. The article reveals the basic features of their style. It is shown that their creativity is inherent meta-symbolism, the pursuit to the ideal.
