Abstract
Famous Russian artist Aristarkh Lentulov worked in theatre from time to time, and his scenographic creativity is not very known and is studied insufficiently. This article describes Lentulov's early theatrical experiments of the 1910s. Also scenographic creativity of Lentulov is entered into the general context of his art. The author of article compare early theatrical sketches of artist with his fundamental pictures “Bell ringing” and “Moscow”.
