Abstract
In the Documentation Center of Public Organizations of the Sverdlovsk region, while working with documents devoted to the artistic life of the Urals in the 1920s and 1930s, sketches of monumental, decorative, and mass propaganda works by the Ekaterinburg artist Leonid Eltyshev were found. These sketches were intended to decorate the urban space of Ekaterinburg by November 7, 1923. These materials are studied, described, and published in the article for the first time in Ural art history and complement the already well-known pages of history about the artist himself and his work, as well as about the forms of celebrating the anniversaries of the October Socialist Revolution in Ekaterinburg.
