Abstract
On June 27, 2020, issue No. 2 (17) 2020 of “The Art of Eurasia” Journal was published. The main themes of the issue are the image of the city in Russian fine arts and the 150th anniversary of the Irkutsk Regional Art Museum named after V.P. Sukachev.
The theme “City in the visual arts”, which was started in the previous issue, is continued here. Also, a number of articles are dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the Irkutsk Regional Art Museum named after V.P. Sukachev, its rich collection and history. In the category “Dictionary of Buddhist iconography by Lokesh Chandra” published translations of articles, including about stupas – unique architectural structures that embody the foundations of Buddhist metaphysics. There are also exhibition projects of the Russian Academy of Arts dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory, the opening of monuments by Z.K. Tsereteli.
