Abstract
The creative work of the Honored artist of the Russian Federation, academician of the Russian Academy of arts Konstantin Kuzminykh is considered as a noticeable phenomenon in the contemporary art of the Russian Far East. The author investigates the evolution of the author's vision and the development of characteristic techniques in which the artist focuses on the color and formal qualities of the artworks. The author also considers the main themes in the artist's work, including biblical motifs, ethnographic features of the territory as a factor of influence on the figurative structure of the work, the motives of Asian cultures.
