“The Art of Eurasia” Peer-Reviewed Journal

International scientific art journal. ISSN 2518-7767 (Online)

  • “The Art of Eurasia” is an international peer-reviewed scientific journal on the theory and history of fine and decorative arts, design and architecture.
  • This scientific electronic journal was founded with the participation of the Russian Academy of Arts, and has been published since 2015 four times a year (March, June, September, December) in electronic form according to the open access model. It is distributed in Russia, CIS countries, and abroad.
  • The journal publishes scientific articles, analytical reviews of exhibitions, specialized competitions and forums, the results of theoretical and applied research, materials of a scientific and educational nature, corresponding to the journal's topics: theory and history of art, architecture, design.
  • Submissions are accepted all year round. Articles are published in Russian and/or English, Chinese.
  • All scientific articles submitted for publication in “The Art of Eurasia” are double-blind peer reviewed.
  • Certificate of mass media accreditation and a name of registering authority: accreditation certificate EL №FS77-71452 from October 26 of 2017 issued by Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media.
  • The journal is available for free in open access under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial License “Attribution-NonCommercial”. The journal doesn’t charge fees for publishing an article (APCs).
  • Scientific indexing. “The Art of Eurasia” Journal is included in the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI) on the eLIBRARY.ru platform, and is reviewed in EBSCO Publishing, Google Scholar, WorldCat (OCLC WorldCat Digital Collection), DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals). DOI (Digital Object Identifier) indexes are assigned to scientific articles, metadata is stored in the DataCite and Crossref repositories in Russian, English and Chinese.
  • The journal is included in the "White List" (Level 3 of the White List of Scientific Publications).
  • Information about the journal issues is presented and accessible online on the Electronic Scientific Library site in full format, in order to create Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI). The journal has got a RSCI impact-factor.

Aims

  • publication of articles and reviews on topical issues of theory and history of fine and decorative-applied arts, design and architecture;
  • promotion of theoretical and practical research in the field of socio-humanitarian knowledge;
  • presentation of works by artists, architects, sculptors, representatives of various artistic movements in the Eurasian space;
  • establishment and strengthening of scientific ties between scientists from different regions of Russia and other Eurasian countries, promotion of cultural dialogue, joint projects in the field of science and art.

Audience

The journal is aimed both at specialists in the theory and history of fine and decorative-applied arts, design and architecture, and at a wide range of readers interested in contemporary issues and retrospective analyses of the artistic heritage of Eurasian countries.

Underlying Philosophy

  • The journal has an international nature.
  • The journal focuses on publishing both fundamental and applied studies by scientists of Eurasian region concerning the issues on the theory and history of fine and decorative arts, design and architecture.
  • The journal works for becoming a platform for presentation of works by artists, architects, sculptors, representatives of various artistic movements in the Eurasian space; publishing new research works, carried out using a comparative study of the materials obtained from all around the globe.
