On February 2-3, 2023, Moscow State University invites you to take part in the 47th All-Russian Scientific Conference "Lazarev Readings". The broadcast will be on the ZOOM platform.
Topics
The conference is annually held by the Department of General Art History in memory of V.N. Lazarev (1897–1976), an outstanding art historian, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
The topics of the conference traditionally cover those areas and eras in the history of art that were the subject of study by V.N. Lazarev: medieval art of Byzantium and Ancient Rus' and classical art of Western Europe. Professors and post-graduate students of the Faculty of History of Moscow State University, scientists from the universities of Moscow, St. Petersburg and Yerevan, employees of leading research institutes and museums in Russia will present their reports.
Conference Regulations
The conference will be held in person at the following address: 27, Lomonosovsky pr-t, bldg. 4 (Shuvalov building of Moscow State University), room E-621. Morning sessions start at 10:00 am, afternoon sessions at 3:00 pm. To receive a pass to the university building, conference guests must register at the link no later than January 29, 2023.
