The Saint-Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design, Institute of design and arts, Department of monumental art invite artists, art theorists, designers, architects, academics, postgraduates and students to participate in the international scientific-practical conference “Actual Problems of Monumental Art” (12–13 March 2021, Saint-Petersburg).
The conference is organized to bring together Russian and foreign experts in the field of monumental art for a constructive dialogue and exchange of professional experience.
The conference will discuss such issues as the role of traditions and innovations in monumental art, reconstruction and reconstruction of cultural heritage monuments, synthesis of arts in the spatial environment, pedagogy in monumental art, interaction between the muralist and the customer, demand in the profession, and others.
The conference dates are March 12-13, 2021. Full-time and part-time participation is possible. The conference proceedings will be published. The conference will include an international exhibition and competition "Creative spring", a round table, master classes on mosaics, enamel and stained glass.
Applications are open until December 15, 2020.
