The Conference “Raphael Santi — Artist and Myth”

The State Institute for Art Studies invites art critics on December 8, 2020 to the conference "Raphael Santi — Artist and Myth. Historical, artistic and cultural aspects", which is dedicated to the 500th anniversary of the artist's death (1483–1520).

This conference is an opportunity to address the work of the genius of the High Renaissance from a modern perspective, as well as to the broad problems of Western European art generated both by the period of the master's life and the response to it in the culture of subsequent centuries.

Applications are accepted until November 20, 2020. In the application, please indicate: name, place of work / study (for graduate students), contact phone number, topic and briefly highlight the main issues of the speech.

The organizing committee reserves the right to select applications.

Travel expenses are paid by the sending party.
