Abstract
The author presents an analytical review of the exhibition dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the birth of the Honored Artist of Russia, Honored Artist of the RSFSR Kim Koval. The article describes the creative path of the painter, the specifics of his artistic method. The exposition presents 52 paintings of the 1950–1990s from the collection of the Primorye State Art Gallery and the collection of the artist's family. The exhibition shows etudes for some of the works of K. Koval, the location of which is currently unknown.
